Hello everyone! Fall is finally here and it is my favorite time of the month because it finally gets fresh here in south Texas(60's-70 degrees). I love all the colors of fall and im really loving a lot of trends for Fall this year, obviously a lot are seen every year, for example leather. You can never go wrong with leather for Fall. I have posted some pictures of my favorite things that im loving, hope y'all enjoy!
The Army chic trend has been very big this year and also part of last year. We've started to see a lot of camo jackets, shirts, pants and also the color olive green because its an army color. Personally i love this style and color a lot, I think its a perfect color for Fall.
Of Course, i have to include leather in here because how can you not love leather during Fall/Winter. Leather pieces are an essential in my opinion to have in your wardrobe, they are timeless pieces to have, especially the leather MOTO jacket. Leather tops have really been popping up everywhere in stores and i especially love the peplum tops like the picture above. Another trend ive been seeing is textured./quilted items. The bomber jacket in the middle is a real nice way to sport the quilted look. Really loved that trend from the moment i saw it. Also any hints of leather on shirts or jackets have also been big, whether it be the collar, shirt pocket or sleeves. A little touch of leather on clothing items give that piece that added edgy-ness and chic look.
PLAID!
another favorite of mine, this is always in style whether it be in the summer or fall or winter. plaid is also an essential to me in my wardrobe. I always have a few plaid shirts. I especially love the Fall season because we start going into the darker, deeper colors that i love.
In the fall, you start seeing the jewel tone colors like Teal and Plums and this year Teal is really making a statement. I love this color, its so pretty, definitely going to be rocking this color a lot
On to shoes, Boots are a must for fall, it wouldnt be fall for me without a pair of boots or two. Combat boots have been a big trend for a while now and i like it but i feel like since i have to short legs, i cant really pull them off like someone who has long legs (my personal opinion) so i try to go for booties that are also lace up but that dont hit that high up on the leg. These steve madden booties are perfect in every way. I will definitely be purchasing these soon!
Ive never really been a huge fan of sneaker wedges but i have seen a couple that are nice but never put thought about getting any but ive recently discovered these Nike sneaker wedges and it was just love at first sight. I immediately started thinking of things i would wear them with. I think with the right outfit, you can make them look really edgy/chic. A great way to make them look more femenine is wearing them with a skirt like above or maybe with some skinny jeans, a nice girly top and a blazer or leather jacket with a high bun.
